What is the difference between the Cambria General eCommerce software and the Cambria Online Store?
The Online Store is designed to be a shopping cart system. This software is great for people who want to sell multiple products over the
internet, allow people to place them in a shopping cart and then check out with all of their items.
The General eCommerce solution is designed for people who would like to have something for their customers to purchase, but
do not need the full capabilities of an online store.
For example, what if you have a web site where people pay to join an e-Club?
Once members, they can log in and enjoy all of the privileges of being a
member. Or perhaps you are a writer with an e-Book that people can purchase, download
and enjoy. Or, like in our example, maybe you have a piece of software that people
can buy and use.

What needs can this software meet?
The Cambria General eCommerce solution will meet the needs of:
- People who are selling a small list of items through their site and do not need a full shopping cart system
- People who are selling eProducts, such as software that can be downloaded, online books, etc. Our General eCommerce solutions allows you to email them a password to log in and download their purchased product after the sale has gone through.
- People who have a site with a paid "Members Only" area where their customers can pay for a membership and then log in to enjoy the benefits of the site.
